The Emperor (ジ・エンペラー ) is Jin Kaidou's first LBX introduced in the Danball Senki series.
Description[]
The Emperor looks like a purple crowned knight-monarch LBX. Its thorny and semi-robotic design gives it an antagonizing, menacing appearance which serves the purpose of Jin acting as a pseudo-antagonist in the beginning of the series.
Background[]
JIn was given The Emperor by his grandfather after he was adopted, developed by Kamiya Craft. He won many battles with The Emperor, which made Yoshimitsu Kaidou very happy, where he nurtured his skills and talents at a young age.
In episode 10, the Emperor is properly introduced in Jin's 3 on 1 battle against several Zuuls in the Underground Angra Visdas. After spending the majority of the battle on the defensive, Jin has Emperor lead the Zuuls into the Rocky Mountain structures. The Emeperor lunges at all three and slices their heads off with Titania. As The Emperor was known for brutally defeating it's opponents in a quick manner (as in less than a minute usually) it earned Jin Kaidou's LBX the nickname "Split Second Killer Emperor"
The Emperor would later end up saving Ban Yamano's LBX Achilles from being destroyed by Daiki Sendou's LBX Joker.
During the Angra Visdas Tournament, The Emperor fought against Ami Kawamura's LBX Kunoichi, where the latter was defeated after being struck once by The Emperor's Titania. The same eventually happened to Kazu's LBX Hunter. The Emperor eventually met its match in the form of Ban's LBX Achilles. They both fought, eventually culminating in Jin Kaidou using the Emperor at full power and performing it's Hammer Type Attack Function, Impact Kaiser for the first time in the series. But Achilles endured and still managed to keep up with the Emperor. Eventually the Emperor would shut down mid battle due to a system error caused by it's CPU not being able to keep up with Jin's commands. Thus, Ban Yamano had won the Angra Visdas tournament.
After these events, The Emperor would be upgraded into the Emperor M2.
Manga Chronology[]
Unlike the anime and video games, Jin Kaidou and the Emperor would be introduced during the invasion of Kaidou mansion. Here, Jin Kaidou finds Ban, Ami, and Kazu in the Kaidou mansion. Jin has the Emperor come out from the ground and take down Ami's and Kazu's LBX. After this, Ban uses Achilles to fight the Emperor. The manga version of the Emperor is shown to be much, much more powerful compared to the anime and game counterparts. The Emperor easily took down Achilles with little to no effort, slamming Achilles toward a wall with a single punch, stopping Achilles' lance attack with one finger, and finally burning Achilles with the Impact Kaiser Attack Function.
