Minerva (ミネルバ Mineruba) is Ran Hanasaki's first main LBX introduced in Danball Senki W.

Description[]

Minerva has a fiery red body, slick arms and legs, and big round ears.

Background[]

Minerva the one of the three special LBXs for the battle against the Detectors. It was handcrafted personally by Junichirou Yamano, and was secretly sent as a prize LBX for the Shibuya Town Martial Arts Tournament Women Group to its designated player, Ran Hanasaki.

Minerva was used by Ran in a battle with her friend Yuki, only for the two to be interrupted by a swarm of brainjacked LBX. Minerva and Warrior battles against them. Since Ran is a martial arts fighter, Minerva inherits her karate moves, utilising them in the battle and they splendidly defeat the brainjacked Deqoo Kais. However, Warrior is soon brainjacked. Ran uses her new LBX to reluctantly defeat her friends.

The situation gets worse when Achilles Deed arrives with Oni Kunoichi and Hunter Kiba, where Minerva is forced on the defense given the three-on-one situation. Luckily, a blue swordsmen LBX and a holy knight LBX arrive to support Ran's battle. With the operators, Ban Yamano and Hiro Oozora's assistance, the tide of the battle turns. When Elysion knocks back Oni Kunoichi, Minerva uses the opportunity to defeat the LBX in one hit. Following her assault on Hunter Kiba next, Minerva jumps in the air as a feint for Perseus to remove it's sniper rifle, where Minerva slashes it with her knuckle claws before swiftly eliminating Hunter Kiba with a single dropkick. Focusing on Achilles Deed, the three LBX attack him, but enters Demonic Mode, parrying the attacks of Minerva and her new allies before eventually retreating.

Minerva was used again at the Dragon Tower, where it worked with Otacross' ZX-2 to eliminate a second battalion of LBX.

Armaments[]

  • Minerva Claw (ミネルバクロー): Minerva's standard equipment for close-combat. They are enforced iron claws enough to break through hard defense, thanks to Ran's control.
